Germany finished top of Group A at Euro 2024 after a dramatic 1-1 draw with hosts Switzerland in Basel.
The Euro 2024 hosts had looked imperious at this tournament, winning both of their opening games, but they were made to work hard for a point against a well-organized Switzerland side.
Breel Embolo gave the Swiss a deserved lead early in the second half, but Niclas Fullkrug popped up with a late equaliser to secure a point for Germany and top spot in the group.
The result means that Germany will now face the runners-up from Group B in the last 16, while Switzerland will take on the winners of Group B.
